Heron

Design by: Mauro Lipparini

Starting from a flat surface, studying proportions, corners and connections: the design of Heron chair is a game of geometry. “A balanced proportion of thin planes, surfaces which bend to reinvigorate the frame, join together and enhance the stretched lines that follow the entire perimeter, extending in total lightness and airiness where the rear legs are connected “.

The word heron as the name for this chair was chosen for a significant reason: lightness is the surprising characteristic of this chair, given by the geometry of the seat and backrest and remarkably enhanced by the legs, consisting of slim metal wires that curve where they hit the ground. Available with metal legs or entirely covered and also with a higher backrest (Heron up).
